Early Admissions

The Early Admissions program is designed for current high school students who want to get a jump start on their future and complete college coursework while still in high school. Participating in the Early Admissions program allows students to earn credits that will apply to their future college degree plan, which can shorten their time to graduation, saving time and money.

What Is Early Admissions?

The Early Admissions program is designed for current high school students who want to get a jump start on their future and complete college coursework while still in high school. Participating in the Early Admissions program allows students to earn credits that will apply to their future college degree plan, which can shorten their time to graduation, saving time and money.

Note: Students are not able to participate in both Dual Credit and Early Admissions during the same semester. However, Dual Credit students are eligible to apply for Early Admissions during semesters when they are not currently enrolled in high school courses. The deadline for submitting the Early Admissions form for review and approval is four weeks prior to the start of the specific term.

Early Admissions Enrollment Process
  1. Complete ApplyTexas application online as an “Early Admissions” applicant. Wait 4-5 business days from the application date, then contact PAC High School Programs.
  2. Complete the Early Admission Recommendation and Parent Form, which includes the recommendations from the High School counselor or designee and parent. Ensure all signatures and dates have been completed. Email the completed form to pac-hsprograms@bagmakerblog.com.
  3. Submit an official non-final high school transcript
    • Submission options include: mailed directly from the school OR if homeschooling parent, then send sealed in an envelope and hand-delivered to High School Programs office, OR emailed from a school official to pac-hsprograms@bagmakerblog.com
  4. Schedule and complete the Texas Success Initiative (TSI) placement exam or submit qualifying scores (SAT, ACT, TSI)
    • Complete AlamoENROLL Test Prep Module via ACES prior to TSI Testing
  5. Submit proof of Bacterial Meningitis vaccination via ACES

Requirements for Early Admissions Students
  • Responsible for all tuition and fees based on residency classification.
  • Must demonstrate college-level ability in the subject area(s) requested.
  • Must adhere to Bacterial Meningitis requirements.
  • Cannot participate in both Dual Credit and Early Admit at the same time.
  • The maximum combined class load must not exceed eighteen (18) semester credit hours (each high school class is equivalent to one three-hour college class).
